Project #12: Sheet Metal Sculpture

Due on 5/24

Requirements:

Using sheet metal, cut out, bend and assemble a sculpture using basic elements of 3D Design: space, plane, mass, volume, shape, etc.

Sculpture must be at least 4 feet in one dimension.

Sculpture must be 3 Dimensional (not flat).

Plexiglass may also be used in construction of your sculpture.

Sculptures may be assembled using notches, nuts and bolts and/or pop rivets.

Timeline: 

5/3 - Present Project, work on 3D model and sketches in class
        Homework: Finish 3D model and sketches with dimensions

5/10 - 3D Model and sketches are due
          Sheet metal and plexiglass demos, work in class

5/17 - Work in class

5/24 - Project due (Critique)
