Project #9: Sheet Metal Sculpture  UPDATED 3/24/2020

Due date 5/22/20

Create a free-standing floor sculpture using sheet metal. Cut, bend and assemble a sculpture using basic elements of 3D Design: space, plane, mass, volume, shape, etc. Sculpture must be at least 4 feet in one dimension. Plexiglass may also be used in construction of your sculpture. Sculptures may be assembled using notches, nuts and bolts and/or pop rivets.

Timeline: 

2/14     Present Project, work on 3D model and sketches in class

2/21     Bring completed 3D Model and sketches to class

            Sheet metal and plexiglass demos, work in class
5/22     Work in class to finish works if back in class

5/29      Critiques in class if we are back in class.....otherwise option to complete or not
             If students are not able to finish they will not be penalized!
