Due date 3/15
Create a floor or wall sculpture using linear wood elements and 1 or more 2-dimensional
visual elements. Linear wood elements can be bamboo, 1”x2”s, 2”x2”s, 2”x4”s, or strips
of cut plywood and must be constructed using a nail gun, nuts & bolts, or drywall screws.
The 2D visual elements must be generated from photos that you have taken and printed.
You must print in unusual ways and/or on unusual surfaces. Consider stacking, bending,
folding, tearing, cutting, hiding, layering, distressing etc., the 2D elements/images. Think
about your images and how they go with the wood elements in a way that is consistent with
your concept, feeling, or ‘story’! Make is as personally significant as you can.
